It was a privilege to meet you:)

As we walk our path of life,

We meet people everyday.

Most are simply met by chance,

But, some are sent our way.

these become special, Whose bond we can’t explain;

The ones who understand us and share our joy and pain.

So, even when apart

Their presence enhances us

With a warmth felt in the heart.

This becomes a passageway, When even the miles disappear, and so these

friends, remain forever near.”

Reflecting on the past three years of Sensitive Touch Medical Spa, the one

thing that comes to mind is “people.”

Our foundation, our purpose and our joy can be found in you.

In you we find our inspiration.

We have been extremely fortunate to have you in our life, even if it was for

just one short visit.

Many of you have become our loyal visitors, some we are lucky to call our

friends and there are those who became like a second family.

Not a single person left our doors without leaving a lasting impression.

And we strongly believe that we were meant to meet.

We are here today because of you and thanks to you.

You shaped us into the business we are today.

We hope that your visit(s) at Sensitive Touch were also more than skin deep.

If you loved our laser hair removal, tattoo removal, Zerona, Botox,

scar removal, SilkPeel, SmoothShapes, brown spot removal, skin tightening,

or vein removal – great!  We have more exciting things to

come.

And if you enjoyed our cozy office, the personal attention you received

from our staff and if you left our MedSpa not only looking but also feeling

better, then we have done our job.

To all the Sensitive Touch Beauties-Hope to see you soon!

In the mean time leave your feedback, share your ideas or simply stay in-

touch by keeping the conversation going on our Facebook page.

“Sometimes people are beautiful.  Not in looks.  Not in what they say.  Just in

what they are.”

How To Get Ready For A New York City Heat Wave

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

New York City is currently in the midst of a heat wave.

Most New Yorkers cope with the high temperatures, the blinding sunshine and the dripping with sweat humidity by locking themselves in their air conditioned urban oases or escaping to the local water houses.

I paint my nails tropical orange, give my lips a juice shine with a watermelon lip gloss, spritz on a tangerine and mango eau de perfume, throw on my favorite summer dress and nude high heeled sandals…sip my coconut water and…sit at my desk…at work…and fantasize …

Tropical island…golden sand…crystal clear water…blue sky…gentle sea breeze…

I am wearing my favorite two piece bathing suit…my blond beach hair is flowing down my golden shoulders in its “never get it from a bottle” perfection…while I lounge on a plush “made for two” towel, sipping my favorite “serve only with an umbrella” summer drink…

While I am working very hard on an even tan on my “posterior”…a  tall, dark and handsome figure appears…

I smile…

No worries…

Whatever my imagination has in the cards for me…I am ready for it all.

In the real world I have been prepping for the “heat wave” for quite some time.

Months of laser hair removal have left all the “touchable surfaces” silky smooth and simply irresistible.

Two weeks of Zerona Body Slimming Laser made sure that the curves have been sculpted to their optimal visual perfection.

Eight sessions of Smooth Shapes Laser erased the hated cellulite dimples, toning my booty to a perky flawlessness.

Three sessions of Affirm Skin Tightening Laser made sure my face and decollate are baby soft, tight and youthfully plump.

Regular chemical peel sessions combined with pearl powder mask gave my face flawless complexion, healthy color and the “ooh, ooh, ooh” dewiness and glow.

Religious use of sunblockVitamin C serum, and antioxidant moisturizer guarantee that the hard work will not go to waste.

In the midst of a New York City heat wave… I sit at my desk… and fantasize of tropical vacations… but the skin and the body are all real, well deserved and all mine…

Now I am ready for a New York City fun in the sun!

7 Secrets to Looking & Feeeling Fabulous in New York City

Monday, September 7th, 2009

New York City

Living in New York City and feeling and looking fabulous is a challenge. Here are 7 secrets I swear by to looking and feeling your very best while living in New York City.

  1. Frequent R&R – The best way to look like a mess is not getting enough sleep and not taking the time from your hectic days to just sit down and relax. Find even a few minutes just to rest. Learn meditation and try it in the evening in your apartment or in a park during lunch. Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.
  2. Escape Regularly- Get out of town with every season. Plan trips regularly – even if they are only day trips. We all need a little fresh air and nothing de-stresses better than contact with nature.
  3. Forgo Wine for Water – Your skin needs water to look it’s best and it is essential to good health. Most of us order wine or reach for a soda on the go – instead, try ordering water and keep bottled water around. Drink at least eight glasses of water each day. In the mornings go for a glass of water with some fresh squeezed lemon juice to cleanse the body and speed your metabolism.
  4. Find a Medical Spa – We all need a little help reversing the signs of age and skin damage. Treatments such as skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, hair removal, chemical peels, vein removal and Botox(R) are not just for movie stars. Medical Spa’s like Sensitive Touch are affordable and effective.
  5. Befriend a Day Spa – One of your best friends should be a neighborhood Day Spa. Pampering your body is essential to feeling your very best. There are thousands of Day Spa’s in New York City and you will definitely find one that is perfect for you.
  6. Walk NYC - Instead of taking a cab, try walking to destinations less then a mile away to get some exercise and discover the city. Walk at least two miles each day.
  7. Be Picky When You Eat Out – New Yorkers dine out at almost every meal ,so being picky where you eat is very important to maintaining your weight and being healthy. Stay away from street vendors, fast food chains and greasy foods. Don’t be afraid to ask for special low-calorie or low-fat preparation of a menu item.

New York City is very unforgiving to our health and our bodies. New York City is very demanding of our health and bodies. Keeping up with the city’s pace and expectations is not easy but achievable. New Yorkers are achievers and good lookers.:)

How Celebrities Reduce Cellulite to Live the Glamorous Life

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Provided by Star Magazine

Provided by Star Magazine

How often do we sit and look through magazines and turn green with envy at the perfect life of celebrities?

Sitting in our tiny New York apartments, crammed with our five roommates and their cat, we salivate over stars’ perfect bodies lounging by their infinity pools, in their larger than life mansions filled with servants and assistants of all sorts, making sure their every need gets satisfied.

Drinking our Starbuck’s venti soy latte we check out celebrity party photos and scrutinize every designer outfit, feeling life is not fair, because we too deserve the $25,000 gift bag just received by the Star of the Month.

Life becomes fair and bright for the mere mortal like you or me, when we see those “perfect bodies” on the cover of our favorite magazine, covered in unsightly dimples.

Camera zooming in on every “nook and cranny” , makes us relate to Jennifer X or Kim Y, like nothing else. We feel this bond of sisterhood with the victims of the cellulite monster that no amount of $$$ in the bank account can break.

There is a feeling of satisfaction knowing that our cellulite is actually less visible, even if we do work out climbing the subway stairs and not with a celebrity trainer.

Life is good knowing that under the layers of perfectly applied spray-on tan and makeup, beneath the latest designer outfit, is a thigh that looks just like yours or mine-maybe not perfect-but real.

I guess celebrities are just real people with glamorous jobs, and every woman after all is glamorous with cellulite or not. But if you are looking for that “celebrity look”, fear not, it’s easier then you think.

A number of celebrities sneak away to have their cellulite reduced by lasers at the hot local Medical Spa. If you live in a major city, there are dozens if not hundreds…and in New York City‘s case, thousands of centers and treatments to have your cellulite reduced.

Cellulite is Stubborn!

Monday, July 20th, 2009

Healthy diet and regular exercise are not enough to fight this enemy of firm and smooth thighs and buttocks.

We have to get multiple weapons in this difficult fight with the “dimple.”

  1. Start with healthy diet and regular exercise but incorporate laser cellulite reducing treatments to give you the results you desire.

Laser cellulite reducing treatments done on regular bases significantly reduce the appearance of cellulite and firm the area treated.

2. Every day in the shower dry brush your thighs and buttocks to improve circulation and follow your shower with a massage of targeted areas with anti-cellulite cream or gel.

3. During the summer use self tanning lotion to keep skin golden, it optically reduces the appearance of cellulite.

Win the battle with cellulite with few simple steps and dare-to-bare this summer!
